Classes

 

Novice Youth Boxing

(ages 5-12)  Wednesday & Friday 4:00pm - 5:00pm

This class is run by registered USA Boxing coaches who undergo both Safe Sport training and a background screening. The youth learn both basic boxing skills as well as defensive skills. Fun exercises and games designed to promote an active lifestyle in childhood while improving focus and athletic ability. 

school of boxing

(ages 8-14) Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 5:30pm

This program is run by registered USA Boxing Coaches who undergo both Safe Sport training and a background screening. This program will be flexible, affordable, and extremely beneficial for anyone that joins and buys into the training we provide. 

School of Boxing will be run from 4:00-5:30 pm Monday-Thursday. The schedule will coincide with the Alexandria School District for snow days or holidays for days we are open and closed.

A new student, wanting to join the program, can stop by to try it out for free.

Whether looking to compete, strengthen one physically and mentally, improve confidence, focus, defend oneself, improve athletic ability, learn the importance of discipline and be given a positive outlet to let out their stress and anger. Some students may be in 5 days a week and look to compete, some students may come in once a week to help them with other sports and school, but everyone that buys into this program and sticks with it, will be a stronger individual after going through the School of Boxing.

Fitness Boxing

Wednesday & Friday 5:00pm - 6:30pm

This class is designed to learn and develop good boxing techniques while also improving cardiovascular and muscular strength. The activities involve both individual and partner activities using a variety of punching bags and mitts. 

Boxing Practice

(ages 13+) Monday & Thursday 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Boxing Practice is open for teenagers and adults. This practice teaches the sport of boxing that can be applied to beginners or advanced boxers. This class can be for competition boxers, or those looking to learn how to box as applied to real life. Hand wraps, boxing shoes, boxing gloves and a mouth guard are required as this practice includes contact drills. 

Sparring

Saturdays from 10:00am - NOON

Sparring is to be held by registered USA Boxers who register as athletes with usaboxing.organd select our gym as gym affiliation. Sparring is done safely, matched appropriately and done within the rules of USA Boxing. 

MMA Group

Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Overseen by Professional Mixed Martial Artist Nick Rogers and facilitated by Amateur stand out Erik Van Tyle, this is a laid back group who meet once a week to go over the fundamentals of MMA without the pressures of competition. Learn, have fun, and grow!
